Born and raised in the foothills of New York’s Southern Tier along the Genessee River, Mike has spent most of his time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, and cooking. He aims to share his love for creation with others through food and writing. He believes that Christ is actively making all things new, and is revealed through everything from the smallest blade of grass to the entirety of the cosmos. After living with the Friars of  , he began to practice a more monastic approach to life and shares this through his writing and his work as a Chef. Mike’s book of poetry, Bread and Oil is coming out soon.
